The Academy The Academy brass section will perform this evening, Friday, April 20, at "Music Under the Stars" at the Tempe Center of the Arts Amphitheater in Arizona. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the event will additionally feature the Arizona Wind Symphony, Corona Del Sol High School Bands and Desert Vista High School Bands.
Blue Stars Blue Stars announced the title of their 2012 production, "The Blue World," which will be "the corps' exploration of the people, creatures, myths, and legends associated with the vast oceans of the world." Featured musical selections will include works by Antonín Dvo??ˇk among others.

Madison Scouts Madison Scouts alums will be hosting the 12th annual "Rockin' for a Cure" this Saturday, April 21, in Madison, Wis. The musical charity event founded in 2000 by the late Scouts alum Steve Weekes, raises funds for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Association Wisconsin Chapter.

Oregon Crusaders The Oregon Crusaders made their 2012 performance debut at the OC Indoor Invitational on April 14 at Tigard (Ore.) High School. The OC Indoor percussion ensemble will compete this weekend at the WGI Sport of the Arts World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.

Spirit of Atlanta Spirit of Atlanta is in search of a head of its food program the corps' 2012 summer tour. According to the posted job description: "The head cook is responsible for the daily nutrition and efficiency of the meal schedule during the summer tour. This will require managing an allotted budget and volunteer cook staff on the road and communicating general needs to the management staff."
