The Academy The Academy extended its series of educational open house sessions for prospective corps members. The free events will be offered on several dates in November in California and Arizona.

Blue Knights Prospective members of the Blue Knights who register before Oct. 31 can save $15 on the cost of the corps' audition camps.

Blue Stars Blue Stars announced the new and returning members of the corps' percussion staff who will be led by caption head Eric Shriver. "Eric Shriver and his team did an outstanding job last season of setting a tone of excellence and excitement for the Blue Stars' percussion program," Executive Director Brad Furlano said.

The Cavaliers The Cavaliers are working to raise funds to cover the medical costs of one of the corps' longtime kitchen managers who in September was robbed at gunpoint and shot multiple times. Donations are currently being accepted online. The corps will also host a spaghetti dinner benefit on Sunday, Nov. 12 in Park Ridge, Ill.

Madison Scouts The Madison Scouts will host their annual board of directors meeting on Friday, Nov. 1 in Madison, Wis. The event will include a recap of the corps' 2013 fiscal year and a "state of the union" address on the 2014 corps by Executive Director Chris Komnick.

Music City Yesterday Music City launched an online fundraising campaign through GoFundMe.com. The corps is aiming to raise $50,000 to help the corps return to the field in 2014. Donation levels come with various "rewards," including some that offer the opportunity for the donor to conduct the group playing its theme song, "Tennessee Waltz."
