The Academy

The Battalion
The next Battalion experience camp will be held December 8-9 in West Jordan, Utah, before the corps kicks off its audition camps in January.
Blue Devils
The Blue Devils hosted a banquet on Saturday, November 25 in Walnut Creek, California, to celebrate the end of the corps’ record-breaking 2017 summer season. A number of awards were presented including those recognizing rookies of the year, most improved performers, and in recognition of the corps’ graduating age-out members.
Blue Knights
Learning technique and the corps’ educational methods were among the focuses of the Blue Knights’ three-day BKXperience Audition Clinic that took place over Thanksgiving weekend in Denver.
Blue Stars
In recognition of #GivingTuesday, Blue Stars focused on raising funds for its new mobile kitchen trailer. You can help the corps reach its goal by sponsoring a “Kitchen Cube” as part of the campaign.
Bluecoats
This week the Bluecoats revealed two new programs focused on the future growth and sustainability of the organization. “The Shield,” a new monthly giving club, will give donors access to VIP experiences and the corps’ pre-season content and media. Additionally, a new endowment fund will invest the donations of Bluecoats supporters to “allow for a longer, more lasting impact of their gifts.”
Boston Crusaders
Just in time to kick off the celebration of the holiday season, the Boston Crusaders’ “Wicked Games” ornaments are now available.
The Cadets
The Cadets are still looking for percussionists to round out the corps’ 2018 front ensemble section.

Colts
Did you know? The Colts organization will be celebrating 55 years in 2018.
Colt Cadets
Colt Cadets is bringing its design team back in its entirety to lead the corps through its 2018 season. “It's a thrill to have all the designers return to provide an even greater educational and entertaining product for our members and audience," director David Alford said.
Crossmen
Crossmen’s recent San Antonio Experience Camp brought prospective corps members together at James Madison High School to learn and rehearse.
Guardians
Angleton, Texas has been announced as the site of Guardians’ December 15-17 audition camp.
Heat Wave
Jonathan Otero will return to Heat Wave in his fourth year as executive director this season. The organization also recently announced the other members of the corps’ administrative team.
Louisiana Stars
The December 3 Houston-area audition camp for Louisiana Stars has been postponed. The corps hopes to offer the camp at a later date.
Madison Scouts
An alum and former staff member of the Madison Scouts, Taras Nahirniak will return in 2018 after nearly 20 years to serve as the corps’ music coordinator.
Mandarins
Mandarins announced the members of its 2018 brass staff, who will be led by caption head Tim Snyder.
Oregon Crusaders
Oregon Crusaders added a percussion audition camp to the schedule for January 12-14 in Portland.
Pacific Crest
Meet the members of Pacific Crest’s 2018 percussion staff, who will be led by caption head Matt Ponce.
Raiders
The Raiders were back in action over Thanksgiving weekend, as the organization hosted an open house for prospective corps members in Millville, New Jersey.
Santa Clara Vanguard
Santa Clara Vanguard is bringing gourmet food trucks to the corps’ California headquarters on Tuesday evenings during the month of December. In addition to great food, stop by to talk with members of Vanguard’s office staff and see the recently completed renovations to the corps’ music room.
Seattle Cascades
Seattle Cascades is gearing up for its next audition camp December 15-17 in Sammamish, Washington.
Southwind
Southwind revealed the members of the corps’ brass staff for 2018. The group will be led for the third year by caption head Dell Trotter.
Spirit of Atlanta
Spirit of Atlanta has cancelled its auditions on December 10 for brass and percussion in Dallas, however, color guard auditions will still be held on that date.
