Blue Stars is looking for a couple “people persons” to fill out the summer schedule for the corps’ souvenir truck team.
Carolina Crown
The CrownJEWELS Fund is intended to fulfill Carolina Crown’s mission to “Develop Lifelong Excellence in Young People,” including teaching members how to give back to the world.
Colt Cadets
The free Colt Cadets’ rehearsal that was cancelled last weekend due to inclement weather has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 22, in Dubuque. Students of all performance levels are invited to attend.
Colts
Colts is now accepting nominations for the Colts Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Genesis
Genesis has “stumbled upon an incredible opportunity … in the form of a semi trailer perfect for creating the mobile kitchen and command center …” Donations are needed to purchase and adapt this vehicle, which already sports propane piping, a water system, a walk-in freezer, and a 40,000 watt generator.
Guardians
“DAMN,” the Kendrick Lamar album that just became the first non-classical or jazz work to win the Pulitzer Prize in Music, is the inspiration for Guardians’ 2018 program, “DAMNED.”
Incognito
Incognito is having a rehearsal camp April 29 in Brea, California, and invites performers of any skill level to attend.
Legends
Final color guard auditions for Legends will be held in the Kalamazoo area April 27-29.
Louisiana Stars
Louisiana Stars needs food prep, sewing, and driving volunteers to assist during the corps’ spring training rehearsals and summer tour.
Madison Scouts
The 2018 Mad Dash 5K series starts Saturday, April 21 in St. Petersburg, Florida. All proceeds benefit various music education organizations.
Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest is looking to fill two equipment truck Class A driver positions for the corps’ summer tour.
Phantom Regiment
This year Phantom Regiment will move its spring training rehearsals to Western Illinois University in Macomb.
Pioneer
Pioneer is looking for volunteers on May 6 to help prepare the corps’ food truck for the 2018 summer season. Lunch will be provided.
Spirit of Atlanta
Spirit named the four newest members of the organization’s Hall of Fame. They will be inducted at a special ceremony held in Roswell, Georgia on May 19.
Troopers
Troopers is in need of a box truck driver during the corps’ summer tour. This is a paid position.
