The Battalion has announced the corps’ 2018 drum majors. The corps next rehearses May 18-19 in Heber City, Utah, and spots are still open in most sections for prospective members.
Blue Devils
Inspired by the famous painting by Edward Hopper, Blue Devils will bring a production titled, “Dreams and Nighthawks” to the field in 2018.
Blue Devils B
This summer Blue Devils B will take things to “The Other Side.” The theme of the corps’ 2018 production is billed as “a glimpse into a life beyond what we know.”
Blue Devils C
Blue Devils C announced the title of its 2018 production, “Candyland: Part Blue.”
Blue Knights
Egyptian mythology will be at the heart of Blue Knights’ recently-announced production, “The Fall and Rise.”
Blue Stars
Blue Stars have an immediate opening for a skilled mallet player to play either a vibraphone or marimba.
Bluecoats
Some of Bluecoats’ most iconic sets, props, costumes, and color guard equipment is now available as part of the corps’ 2018 Closet Cleanout Sale.
Boston Crusaders
Boston Crusaders has been invited to present “A Day in the Life of a DCI Percussion Section” at the 2018 Percussive Arts Society International Convention this November in Indianapolis.
The Cadets

The Cavaliers named the members of the corps’ 2018 student leadership team.
Colts
“True Believer” is the title of Colts’ 2018 competitive production. The show will be premiered June 22 at the Colts Summer Premiere at the University of Dubuque.
Columbians
Columbians will hold its first annual fund-raising gala on May 18 in West Richland, Washington. The theme of the event is “A Night in Havana.”
Gold
Gold has current openings for brass, percussion, and color guard members.
Guardians
Guardians is looking for percussionists to join the corps’ front ensemble section.
Heat Wave

Jersey Surf
Jersey Surf wants you to get on the bus with the corps this summer. Spots are still open in the corps’ mellophone and low brass sections, as well as the color guard.
Legends
Legends has an immediate opening for a trumpet player. Auditions will be conducted via video.
Louisiana Stars
The theme of Louisiana Stars’ 2018 production is “Redemption.” The color guard is looking for two or three additional members, and video auditions will be accepted.

Pacific Crest
High school drum majors will take their leadership and conducting skills to the next level at the Pacific Crest Drum Major Camp, to be held June 27-29 in Oceanside, California.

Pioneer
Pioneer is looking for five members to join the corps’ 2018 front ensemble percussion section. Positions are also open in the color guard.
River City Rhythm
River City Rhythm has limited openings in the trumpet, tuba, and cymbal sections, as well as in the color guard.
Santa Clara Vanguard
The Vanguard experience educational clinic is coming to Ashland, Oregon on June 2. This opportunity is open to all brass, percussion, color guard, and woodwind students, and tickets are only $10.
Seattle Cascades
Seattle Cascades has some positions open in the brass line, color guard, and front ensemble. Auditions will be conducted May 11-13 in Bonney Lake, Washington and also May 25-28.
Shadow
Shadow has an immediate opening on snare drum, as well as a few brass and color guard openings. Membership is open to current high school students or those graduating this year.
Southwind
Southwind has openings for cymbals, marimba, brass, and color guard. The corps’ next camp is May 18-20 in Robertsdale, Alabama.
Troopers
Troopers’ second annual Wyoming Music Camp is open to brass and percussion students ages 14-18. Participants will learn one of the corps’ 2018 songs and will perform with the corps at its 60th anniversary celebration on July 12.
Vanguard Cadets
Vanguard Cadets still has opportunities for prospective members to join the corps’ front ensemble percussion (mallet), color guard and brass (trumpet, baritone) sections.
Watchmen
Watchmen has a few openings in the corps’ baritone/euphonium and tuba sections.
