For their 2018 program, “The Once and Future Carpenter,” the Blue Stars recently received brand-new natural-finish percussion instruments from Yamaha.

Registration for the Bluecoats’ next “The Blue Way” educational experience closes soon; the event will be held Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10 in Marion, Indiana.

Boston Crusaders
The Crusaders’ annual “Concert in the Park” event is set for June 14 at 5 p.m. in Boston.

The Cadets
The Cadets announced an upcoming community performance of “The Unity Project” at Ohio Northern University on June 14.

Carolina Crown
Crown recently held its first CrownLEARNING camp, centered on brass and leadership.

The Cavaliers
On Wednesday, The Cavaliers announced their music selections for “On Madness and Creativity,” including Peter Graham’s “The Triumph of Time” and Rufus Wainwright’s “Oh What a World.”

Crossmen
Crossmen is currently advertising its 2018 eXperience Day, which will be held at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio on June 15.

Genesis
The musical selections for Genesis’ 2018 production, “RetroVertigo,” were released. The corps’ repertoire features Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” and Pink Martini’s rendition of Doris Day’s “Que Sera Sera.”

Gold
This week, Gold released information about its 2018 program, “Through Our Eyes,” which will be themed on the challenges faced by differently-abled individuals.

Guardians
The Guardians currently have openings for 2018 on mellophone, baritone and tuba.

Jersey Surf
Jersey Surf recently released a video recapping its first public performance of the new season.

Legends
The Kalamazoo, Michigan-based corps released the title and music selections of its 2018 production, “Along Came a Spider.”
