Heat Wave visual caption head Chris Washington has been recognized as a recipient of Winter Guard International's 2023 "Emerging Voices Award." The recognition "is a community-funded monetary award that provides an opportunity for outstanding minority performers with significant financial need to reach their highest potential."
Jersey Surf
Jersey Surf formed a new partnership with Forte Athletics for a "specialized program that will build marching muscle and sport-specific skill to minimize risk of injury and maximize athletic performance."

Phantom Regiment
Phantom Regiment will spend its 2023 spring training rehearsals on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. "EIU is a hidden jewel in Central Illinois, and it’s been a breeding ground for champions," tour director Joe Taylor said.
River City Rhythm
The River City Rhythm indoor drum line was named the 2023 Minnesota Percussion Association PIW Champions. The group will next perform in Dayton, Ohio at the WGI Sport of the Arts World Championships.
