The Academy
Fans can get an inside first-look at the 2023 edition of The Academy at the corps’ June 10 gala at Betty Fairfax High School in Laveen Village, Arizona. “The Academy Showcase” will feature the debut of music from the corps’ 2023 production, “Sol Et Luna: Until Our Next Eclipse.”
The Battalion
The Utah corps has limited open positions in its trumpet, baritone and color guard positions, and is still accepting video auditions.
Blue Devils
Listen to the Blue Devils’ 1999 horn line play warmup music featuring themes from the “Star Wars” films, in honor of Star Wars Day.
Blue Knights
RSVP for Blue Knights’ Memorial Day Potluck, scheduled for May 29 at Adams City High School in Commerce City, Colorado. The event will feature a full-corps performance from the Denver corps.

The La Crosse, Wisconsin corps publicized its handful of locations at which members can receive mail during the 2023 season.
Bluecoats
Bluecoats introduced a group of six professionals who will take part in the corps’ inclusive fellowship program for the summer of 2023. “This fellowship is breaking down barriers to promote inclusivity and creativity within the drum corps world, reminding us that the activity is living, breathing, and evolving daily,” said Nicole Brady, one of the corps’ fellows. “I am proud to join this team and see what growth is encouraged and inspired throughout my time with the Bluecoats.”

Bluecoats Rhythm IN BLUE Canton, OH
Catering to a wide variety of marching music experience and involvement, Rhythm IN BLUE reports that on its 2023 roster, six members performed with the Bluecoats 50th Anniversary Alumni Corps in 2022, five marched in DCI corps outside of Bluecoats, three originally marched in DCI corps in the 1980s, and two-thirds of the overall performers are getting their first taste of the drum corps experience this summer. Auditions for the group are set to end the week of May 12.
Calgary Stampede Showband – Calgary, ALB
The Stampede’s Music in Motion event, featuring a number of performing groups, is set to take place May 27 in Calgary.
Eclipse Drum & Bugle Corps – Indianapolis, IN
Eclipse hosted a virtual audition event May 11 which gave participants the opportunity to meet the corps’ staff, ask questions and learn from top educators form the state of Indiana.
Gems Drum & Bugle Corps – Boise, ID
