7th Regiment kicked its 2024 season into gear at a recent audition camp in Cheshire, Connecticut.
The Academy
The Academy sent best wishes to all of the Arizona ensembles taking part in the Metallica Marching Band Competition.
The Battalion
The Battalion is currently in search of a new corps director to follow in the footsteps of current director Katherine Steinacker. Steinacker, who is a two-time DCI Open Class Director of the Year award winner, will stay on board through the hiring process after which she’ll transition into an advisory role and serve as a member of the organization’s board of directors.

Guardians
Professor Ron Ellis of the University of Texas at San Antonio is one of the newest educators to join the Guardians. “There is buzz and energy in Central Texas about this group, and we all are looking forward to auditions and our first rehearsals,” Ellis said.
Heat Wave
Heat Wave is currently recruiting individuals to work in support staff positions for the corps’ 2024 tour. The corps posted: “With a journey of 3,000 miles, we need the right folks for the job.”

His dedication to the art and his ability to inspire fellow musicians make him an ideal leader for the upcoming season.”
Skyliners
The Skyliners threw things back this week to the early 1990s, remembering the important role the New York corps played with the Summer Music Games All-Star Drum and Bugle Corps, a more than 400-member ensemble that marched in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
