The Battalion
The Battalion was approved to join DCI’s World Class division in 2027. “This is a culmination of everything we’ve been building over the last 12 years,” Battalion director Tyler Hess said.

Blue Devils
The Blue Devils are hosting a brass audition camp Sunday, October 4 in Norcross, Georgia.

Blue Knights

Carolina Crown
Carolina Crown is hiring a fall merchandise sales assistant for events in October.



Gold
Gold was approved to transition to DCI’s World Class beginning in 2027. “Moving into World Class is a big moment for Gold. It’s something we’ve been working toward for a long time, even if it wasn’t always the immediate goal in front of us,” Gold executive director Kevin Valentine said.

Guardians
Travis Larson was announced as the Guardians’ brass composer and arranger for 2027.

Mandarins
Mandarins announced Jeff Pearson as its corps director. “His extensive experience in drum corps operations, organizational leadership, human resources, and business management will be an important part of building a successful and sustainable future for the corps.”



Seattle Cascades
Seattle Cascades is looking for media team members to document its 2027 season.

Spartans
Spartans, Boston Crusaders and 7th Regiment are teaming up for a free, single-day brass clinic with staff from all three corps in Reading, Massachusetts.



Zephyrus
Zephyrus has tapped Darin Williams as its new corps director. “Without the support I have received from loving family, supportive friends, and cherished colleagues I would not be ready to begin this exciting journey,” Williams said.

Cincinnati Tradition
Registration for Cincinnati Tradition’s 2027 season is now open on the corps’ website.

Columbus Saints
Columbus Saints audition registration and materials are available now ahead of the corps’ October 18 and 25 educational clinics.



Northern Lights
Late Northern Lights co-founder and Hall of Fame member Daniel Meyers was honored with the naming of a rehearsal space at Muskegon Community College.

Blue Saints Drum & Bugle Corps – Sudbury, ON
The Blue Saints will help kick off the Sudbury Walk for Down Syndrome Awareness in Sudbury, Ontario.

Carolina Gold – Winston-Salem, NC
Carolina Gold is hiring instructors and staff in a variety of areas within the corps.

Crusaders Senior Drum & Bugle Corps – Boston, MA
Crusaders Senior Corps has spots available in every section ahead of an October 4 event.

Sky Ryders – Hutchinson, KS
Sky Ryders named Jay Koupal as corps director. “Jay brings a rare combination of educational leadership, marching-arts experience, and a deep commitment to young performers,” said Sky Ryders Performing Arts Foundation CEO Dale Antoine.
