Glassmen



The Glassmen recently announced the title of their 2008 program, "Kar-ne-vel." Posted on the corps' Web site, the program description includes: "With a deep focus on musical exploration, relentless energy and excellence, the performers will take you through a series of sideshows, rides and merrymaking representing the sights and sounds of the timeless traveling carnival."

On Saturday, April 12, the Glassmen will perform with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra marking the symphony's 65th anniversary. The orchestra will donate a portion of ticket proceeds back to the Glassmen.

Blue Stars



The Blue Stars have appointed several veteran corps members to assume section leader responsibilities for the 2008 season. Among them; Greg Stoecker (mellophone), Briana Engelbert (euphonium), Kevin Guth (baritone), Troy Jones (tuba), Richie Shockley (trumpet) and Savahna Sperle (tuba).

Carolina Crown



From the field to the wall ... Carolina Crown has launched a new Web site, MarchingHead.com where drum corps fans can purchase life-size corps images to hang on the wall. Also offered through the site are decals, window graphics, posters and even laptop skins.
