Pacific Crest

Pacific Crest announced the title for its 2008 program, "Primality: the Rituals of Passion." New visual designer Jack Chambers will help put this program together, additionally working with Jeff Sterrett (program coordinator), Dale Leaman (brass arranger), Matt Altmire and Stuart Pompel (percussion arrangers), Stephanie Colby (color guard coordinator) and Michael Cesario (advisor). Music selections will be incorporated from the films "Blood Diamond" and "The Wind and the Lion," and from Cirque du Soleil's "Dralion."

Spirit from JSU

Dec. 11, 2007



Spirit from JSU welcomes Mark Riel as the organization's assistant director for logistical operations. He will work with the corps during the 2008 season in the areas of tour management and communications. He also serves as director of bands at North Brunswick High School in Leland, N.C.

Memphis Sound

Dec. 12, 2007



Memphis Sound has named new corps director Corey Smith. Smith, a former member of several drum corps including Memphis Blues, 27th Lancers and the Madison Scouts, recently served as tour director for the Madison Scouts during the 2007 Drum Corps International season.
