Blue Knights
This week Drum Corps International announced that longtime Blue Knights executive director Mark Arnold will be inducted as one of five 2014 members of the DCI Hall of Fame.

Blue Stars
Blue Stars will host a 5k fun run/walk on Sunday, June 15 in La Crosse, Wis. The new event will conclude with a special performance by the drum corps.

Boston Crusaders
Boston Crusaders announced that the title of the corps’ 2014 competitive production will be “Animal Farm,” and produced a cryptic video hinting at the theme of the program.

The Cadets
Youth Education in the Arts, the parent organization of the Cadets, forged a new partnership with marchingapparel.com to develop new lines of merchandise for the organization’s performing ensembles.

Carolina Crown
Carolina Crown founder Kevin Smith will be inducted as part of the Drum Corps International Hall of Fame Class of 2014.

Cascades
Cascades are surveying corps alumni, current members, family, friends and supporters in an effort to “identify and engage alumni, improve the corps on and off the field, strengthen the Cascades’ identity and association with their community.”

The Cavaliers
The Cavaliers launched a new fundraising campaign with a goal of finding 200 monthly donors whose contributions will support the ongoing operations of the organization’s performing ensembles.

Gold
Gold will host auditions for brass, percussion and color guard members April 26-27 in both St. Louis and Los Angeles.

Jersey Surf
Jersey Surf is recruiting musicians and performers who can work with the corps to “Pay it Forward” as part of the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games in New Jersey.

Madison Scouts
In recognition of the organization’s 30-year history together, Yamaha Corporation of America established two new scholarships that will benefit Madison Scouts corps members.

Mandarins
On Tuesday, May 6, you’ll have a 24-hour period to make a donation to the Mandarins as part of Sacramento’s Big Day of Giving campaign.

Phantom Regiment
One of the special events scheduled for Phantom Regiment’s annual Show of Shows competition on Friday, June 20, is nicknamed Project 35: Elsa’s Return to the Cathedral. The performance will bring decades worth of alumni to perform Phantom Regiment’s signature piece with current corps members. “This will be the first time I’m aware of that we’ve had an alumni brass section combine forces with the current corps,” director Dan Farrell said.
