Capital Sound This summer Capital Sound will unveil new uniforms marking the final piece of a rebranding of the corps' identity started back in 2007. As noted in a corps press release, the design by Stanbury Uniforms is "an evolution of their current uniform with a crisp, modern design." Learn more on

Crossmen Crossmen mellophone player Kristen "KK" Richard has been awarded a spot in the new all-female marching stage show "Odyssey." The new production will debut in Japan in October of 2008. Read more on
Impulse At the beginning of May, Impulse announced the selection of Byron De Ocampo as the corps' drum major. A first-year member of the corps, De Ocampo comes to Impulse with four years experience with the Trabuco Hills High School Marching Band in Mission Viejo, Calif. Learn more on
