Capital Sound This summer Capital Sound will unveil new uniforms marking the final piece of a rebranding of the corps' identity started back in 2007. The Cavaliers The Cavaliers released new details about the group's 2008 program "Samurai" which will be based on original pieces by corps composers Richard Saucedo, Jim Casella and Erik Johnson. Learn more on Cavaliers.org.
Crossmen Crossmen mellophone player Kristen "KK" Richard has been awarded a spot in the new all-female marching stage show "Odyssey." The new production will debut in Japan in October of 2008. Read more on Crossmen.org.
Impulse At the beginning of May, Impulse announced the selection of Byron De Ocampo as the corps' drum major. A first-year member of the corps, De Ocampo comes to Impulse with four years experience with the Trabuco Hills High School Marching Band in Mission Viejo, Calif. Learn more on ImpulseYouthArts.org.

Troopers A new trailer for "America's Core," a documentary about the Troopers produced and directed by corps alum Michael Gough, has been posted on the film's MySpace page.
