Blue Devils



The Blue Devils posted an update on euphonium player Joseph Ricard who underwent emergency surgery while on tour with the Blue Devils A corps at the end of July to treat a neurological condition. As of Aug. 13, Ricard underwent another successful preventative surgery, with the hopes of being able to travel home within the next week.

Boston Crusaders



The Boston Crusaders made special recognition of the corps' 10th season as a Drum Corps International World Championship Finalist. The corps finished in 10th place this past Saturday at the 2008 DCI World Championship Finals in Bloomington, Ind.

The Cadets



The Cadets announced the retirement of longtime percussion instructors and arrangers, Tom Aungst and Neil Larrivee. Aungst, who is a DCI Hall of Fame member, has been with the Cadets for 27 years and will move on to spend more time with his family. Larrivee also has been associated with the Cadets for many years and will now look forward to moving on to the "next chapter in his life." The Cadets will make an official announcement about the future of the organization's percussion program next week.
