Blue Devils Both the Blue Devils Open and A Winter Guards took first place at the 2011 California Color Guard Circuit Championships.

Bluecoats The Bluecoats will present their Blue Way Interactive Educational Experience June 4-5 at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. With opportunities for brass, tenor and snare drum, color guard and drum majors, students will learn from Bluecoats staff and perform side-by-side with corps members.

Carolina Crown Carolina Crown recently announced the title of its 2011 production, "Rach Star." Explained on the corps' website, "From stage diving to piano concertos and lighting truss to drum sets, Carolina Crown shifts gears and takes drum corps entertainment in a new direction."

The Cavaliers Saturday, April 30, alumni will gather in Palatine, Ill., for the Cavaliers Memorial Lunch, "a sincere event with no solicitations—simply a gathering to commemorate Cavalier friends and family who have passed away. "

Colts Tickets are now on sale for the Colts' second annual Brass Impact DCI Tour event. The event will take place in Olathe, Kan. on Monday, July 18. Last year's event was a sellout, so fans are encouraged to order tickets early.

Crossmen This summer the Crossmen with Contempo Leadership will present a new joint venture called the Drum Major eXperience, an educational training camp for students. "Kara Alvarez-Calderon's Contempo Leadership and Crossmen Productions partnering to conduct the first of many Drum Major eXperience camps in conjunction with the Crossmen spring training at the Blossom Athletic Center is a natural," said Fred Morrison, Crossmen executive director. Forte Forte will be hosting its April rehearsal camp next weekend (April 29 to May 1) in Burleson, Texas. Looking to fill a few remaining positions in its brass and color guard sections, prospective members are invited to attend and audition.

Glassmen Matrix indoor percussion ensemble finished in eighth place at last weekend's WGI Percussion World Championship. More than 24 past and present Glassmen members performed as part of the group.

Madison Scouts Color guard auditions for the Madison Scouts continue the weekend of April 29 to May 1 in Bloomington, Ind. The section will once again be led by staff members Jim Moore (choreographer), Rosie Queen (caption supervisor) and Bryan Sutton (caption head).

Pacific Crest Pacific Crest's color guard auditions will take place April 30 to May 1 in Diamond Bar, Calif. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on the 30th.

Santa Clara Vanguard Vanguard's winter percussion program took first place in its division in its very first trip to the WGI Percussion World Championships last weekend in Dayton, Ohio. The group won the gold with a score of 93.875.

Spartans The Spartans' Summer Music Festival on June 25 will feature a series of educational events and special performances by the Spartans and the Nashua Symphony Orchestra and Brass Choir. Students can pre-register for the educational clinics for percussion and color guard on the corps' website.
