The Academy The Academy announced the members of its 2011 brass staff who will be led by returning caption head Christian Carichner.

Blue Stars The Blue Stars are collecting donations for its scholarship fund drive. The program directly benefits corps members in need of financial assistance so that they can participate with the corps in 2011.

Bluecoats Bluecoats' annual business meeting will be held on Sunday, Nov. 28 in Canton, Ohio. The meeting "will consist of election of the board of directors and an annual report on the fiscal and operational results and plans of the Bluecoats association.

The Cadets Former Cadets director Richard "Doc" Santo passed away this week. He was director of the corps from 1979-1982 and is often credited with building the foundation for the corps' successes in the mid 1980s. Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 19.

Cascades The Cascades have promoted alum Zach Smith to the position of brass caption head. He will work alongside Steve Menefee.

The Cavaliers The Cavaliers announced members of their percussion design and instructional staff for 2011. The group will be led by caption coordinator Michael McIntosh.

Crossmen Crossmen alum John Leonard will join the corps as color guard caption head in 2011. The corps additionally announced the members of its visual staff for the coming summer.

Jersey Surf Jersey Surf announced its design staff members who will produce the corps' production for its 21st season. "We continue to develop our own program on the field and behind the scenes while living within our means, and we are very pleased to have assembled an impressive team of creative professionals to help guide our organization for the coming season and beyond," said Executive Director Bob Jacobs.
