Blue Devils

The Blue Devils' Antonio (Tony) Odello Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 17, at the age of 89. Odello and his wife Ann are responsible for founding the Blue Devils organization in 1957. Services will be held Tuesday, March 24 in Concord, Calif.

"Throw It Down," a documentary film featuring the 2006 Bluecoats, will have its first festival screening this weekend in New York City at the New York International Independent Film Festival.

The Cadets

More than 150 alumni, fans and family members joined the Cadets last weekend in Southern New Jersey to kick off the corps' 75th anniversary celebrations. Corps members performed selections from their 2009 program which features the music of Leonard Bernstein.

The Mandarins launched a redesigned Web site which aims to extend the reach of the organization's programs by serving a broad audience of fans, supporters, corps members and other students. "Our online visitors will now experience a more vibrant and seamless view of our informational resources," said corps director Ray Mar.
