The Blue Stars and Troopers launched their “Legends Showdown,” a 10-day fundraising campaign that pits the two corps against each other for bragging rights. “Last year’s Legends Showdown was a lot of fun for both organizations and it was great to see our alumni and supporters propel us to victory in the end,” Blue Stars Executive Director Brad Furlano said.

It’s never too early to think ahead to 2014! Boston Crusaders posted times and dates for the corps’ auditions for next season, and will continually post updates regarding specific details on its website and its “2014 Boston Crusaders Auditions” Facebook group.

At the DeKalb, Ill. DCI show, the Cavaliers and Phantom Regiment revealed the official results of their Backyard Brawl fundraiser. Both corps raised impressive amounts, with the Cavaliers coming out ahead at $50,658, while Phantom Regiment raised $29.939.78.
City Sound
City Sound will host a supporters meeting Saturday, Aug. 3 in Los Angeles, allowing the community to come together and begin organizing administrative and volunteer responsibilities for the corps’ 2014 season.

Impulse performed at Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim California July 18 after completing its 2013 season July 14 in Bellflower, Calif.
