Phantom Regiment has added Dr. Cameron “Chip” Crotts to the corps’ brass staff. Formerly a staff member for Spirit from JSU, Crotts will join the Phantom Regiment as co-caption head with brass arranger J.D. Shaw.
Colts

The Colts recently announced the title and theme of their 2008 production “Night and Day.” The show will feature the music of Bernstein, Rozsa, Porter, and Lloyd Webber.
Spirit from JSU

Spirit welcomes Dr. Ray Vasquez to the corps’ 2008 staff as brass caption head. Vasquez, who holds his doctorate in musical arts and trumpet performance, currently teaches applied trumpet and jazz ensemble at Auburn University, in Auburn, Ala.
Blue Stars

The Blue Stars have hired Eric Sabach as director of youth programs for the organization. Coming from a business development role with Phantom Regiment, Sabach will focus on marketing and development initiatives with the Blue Stars in addition to managing the corps’ daily activities.
Troopers

On Monday, Nov. 26, the Troopers celebrated the 50th anniversary of the corps’ very first audition camp. The organization will continue to post news and updates about its 50th anniversary throughout the 2008 drum corps season.
