Frank Sullivan will return to the Blue Stars this season as brass arranger. “Frank’s wonderful arrangements have been the foundation for our success over the past six seasons, and I can’t wait to hear what he brings to the field in 2012,” said Executive Director Brad Furlano.

Cascades

Cascades will offer free bus transportation from several locations in the Pacific Northwest to its upcoming audition and rehearsal camps. Those interested can signup on the corps’ website.

The Cavaliers posted their off-season schedule of rehearsals. Things get started on Nov. 18-20 in the Chicagoland area with the corps’ first educational clinic and audition camp.

The Crossmen announced their visual staff members who will be led in 2012 by returning caption head Paul Nye. “Paul and I have assembled some of the finest experienced instructors to teach the Crossmen how to march well,” said Program Coordinator Ed Devlin.
Jersey Surf

As the 2012 Drum Corps International Tour schedule begins to take shape, Jersey Surf has announced its intentions to travel to Texas to take part in the DCI Southwestern Championship in San Antonio. Since first competing as a World Class corps in 2009, the Surf has typically stayed close to its New Jersey home as the DCI Tour takes its annual swing into Texas.

Legends will kick off its 2012 season with an “Experience Camp” weekend Nov. 26-27. “This is a great way for interested members to learn about Legends, what we will expect for auditions, learn about our approach and techniques, meet the staff, and hear about plans for our 2012 production,” said Executive Director Ibe Sodawalla. The corps will follow the November camp with auditions Dec. 9-11.
Madison Scouts

Madison Scouts

The Madison Scouts will kickoff their audition season for brass players on Nov. 12 in Denton and Nov. 13 in Houston, Texas. Battery percussion members will audition Nov. 19-20 in Indianapolis with front ensemble and color guard auditions following in early December also in Indy.

Mandarins announced its roster of 2012 design staff members. Among the new additions to the staff is Key Poulan who will serve as design coordinator and brass arranger.
