Boston Crusaders The Boston Crusaders completed the first round of their audition process last weekend at Lakewood Ranch High School in Florida. The Cadets The Cadets report that more than 200 attendees turned out for the corps' experience and audition camp Nov. 20-22 in Woodstown, N.J. Assistant director Justin Heimbecker said that prospective members came from nearly a dozen states including Texas, Florida and Massachusetts, as well as Canada and Japan. YEA.org
Carolina Crown Like many corps across the country, Carolina Crown also kicked off its audition season Nov. 20-22. The camp included a "show and tell" session on the last day where attendees showcased all that they had learned throughout the entire weekend. CarolinaCrown.org
The Cavaliers The Cavaliers got their 2010 season started Nov. 20-22 in Rosemont, Ill., with their first audition camp for prospective brass, percussion and color guard members. Glassmen The Glassmen announced that the corps' 2010 production will be titled "The Prayer Cycle" and will feature the music of Jonathan Elias, Philip Glass and Ron Nelson. Glassmen.org

Jersey Surf The Jersey Surf kicked off its 20th anniversary season at Camden County Technical School in Merchantville, N.J., Nov. 27-29. "The November camp is always one of my favorite weekends of the year," said Executive Director Bob Jacobs. "Not only is it fun to welcome back the returning members of the corps who performed so magnificently during the summer, but it's great to welcome all of the new people to the Jersey Surf organization." Music City Music City welcomed many new faces to the corps' first audition camp Nov. 28-29 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The percussion and color guard focused camp took students through various warm-up and technique exercises while prospective members were evaluated by staff members in group and individual settings.
