The Academy



Academy members kick off their 2009 performance season this weekend with their special theater production "CenterStage." Taking place at the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Ariz., the corps will host three performances first at 7:30 p.m. tonight, and then on Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

Blue Knights

Join the Blue Knights on Saturday, June 20 in Englewood, Colo., to kickoff the 2009 drum corps season! Family, friends, alumni and fans are invited to the corps' Rocky Mountain Rendezvous for a special preview performance featuring the Blue Knights, Troopers and High Country Brass.

Boston Crusaders



Join the Boston Crusaders on Friday, June 12 for their 10th annual Spring Fling, returning for the third year to Nonantum Post 440 in Newton, Mass. In addition to this New England preview performance of the corps, the newest members of the Boston Crusaders Hall of Fame will be inducted during the evening's festivities.

Holy Name Cadets



Meteorology student Joe Moore wanted to do more than what a typical internship could offer, and this summer is working to keep the Cadets' staff a step ahead of mother nature. Posting daily forecasts for the corps on his Web site MarchingWeather.com, he'll soon hit the road to help keep the Cadets and other corps high and dry this summer.

Memphis Sound



Memphis Sound is proud to announce the newest partnership in the organization's relocation efforts to the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. Executive Coach will partner with Memphis Sound to provide the charter buses the corps will use to travel the country on the 2009 DCI Tour.

Racine Scouts



The Racine Scouts proudly announced this week a new percussion staff member, Jose Iraheta. A member of Vic Firth's education team, he has taught members of several southern California high school marching bands and Winter Guard International percussion groups.

Teal Sound



Come out to Thomasville, Ga., on June 20 for Teal Sound's Friends and Family Day. Filled with multiple events including fundraisers and a spaghetti dinner, the evening will culminate with a dress performance of the corps' 2009 production, "The Velvet Rope."

June 5 through the 14th is "Troopers Week" in Casper, Wyo! There will be many opportunities to see and hear the corps perform its 2009 show "Western Side Story," before corps members hit the road for the 2009 DCI Tour.
