Academy members kick off their 2009 performance season this weekend with their special theater production "CenterStage." Taking place at the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Ariz., the corps will host three performances first at 7:30 p.m. tonight, and then on Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

Meteorology student Joe Moore wanted to do more than what a typical internship could offer, and this summer is working to keep the Cadets' staff a step ahead of mother nature. The Racine Scouts proudly announced this week a new percussion staff member, Jose Iraheta. A member of Vic Firth's education team, he has taught members of several southern California high school marching bands and Winter Guard International percussion groups.
