Blue Devils

Blue Devils C
An informational meeting for membership in the 2012 Blue Devils C is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 3 in Concord, Calif. The corps is open to students between eight and 14 years of age.
Blue Knights
Blue Knights have scheduled a one day audition camp for prospective brass, percussion and color guard members in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. The event will take place on Sunday, Nov. 13.
Boston Crusaders
Audition music for those interested in the 2012 Boston Crusaders brass section is now available for download.
The Cadets
The Cadets and its parent organization Youth Education in the Arts are assembling a drum line for the New Jersey Devils Hockey Club. Worry not, strong ice skating skills are not required because this small percussion ensemble will play from the stadium concourse and stands.
Carolina Crown
Carolina Crown is looking for the “best and the brightest” to serve as drum majors of the corps in 2012. Auditions will take place at Crown’s camp Nov. 18-20 in Fort Mill, S.C.
Crossmen
Clark Gardner, newly appointed percussion caption head of the Crossmen, announced the additional members of the corps’ percussion staff for 2012. “We are very happy with the additions we were able to make to the returning members of the 2011 percussion staff,” Clark said.
Forte
Forte announced its 2012 brass and percussion caption heads.
Pacific Crest
Some 300 people gathered at Pacific Crest’s annual awards banquet on Sunday, Sept. 18 in Brea, Calif. Several awards were handed out including those recognizing outstanding corps members.
Phantom Regiment
Online registration for Phantom Regiment’s 2012 auditions is now available. Color guard and percussion auditions will take place Nov. 18-20 with brass and conductors following on Friday, Nov. 25-27. Both weekends will take place in Beloit, Wis.
Santa Clara Vanguard
Santa Clara Vanguard released preliminary information about its 2012 audition camps. The corps will begin Nov. 18-20 in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. A California based audition camp will follow Dec. 2-4 in San Jose.
Spirit of Atlanta
Spirit of Atlanta announced the returning members of its design staff for the 2012 season. “It is not only exciting to have the exact same design team in place for a second year in a row, but also to be working with professionals who are great friends. The synergy of this team is truly special,” said Director of Education and Programming Dr. Mark Waymire.
Velvet Knights
Velvet Knights will host an open house for prospective members Sunday, Nov. 13 in Chino, Calif. Those interested in attending can fill out an online membership interest form to receive additional information.
