Blue Knights Blue Knights announced its 2011 design team that will once again be led by program coordinator and visual designer Marc Sylvester. DCI Hall of Fame arrangers Jim Prime and Jay Bocook will also return, this year joined by percussion arranger Ralph Hardimon. "We are thrilled to be working with each other and excited about bringing another show that challenges the members while entertaining the fans!" said Sylvester.

The Cadets Members of the Cadets' design team will be meeting this Sunday, Sept. 19 in Philadelphia to discuss plans for the corps' 2011 production. "At this juncture, I believe we have five or so different concepts prepared to discuss. We could have as many as 10 different ideas before we settle in," said director George Hopkins. Fans will be able to join a webinar at 5 p.m. ET to listen in on what the team has been discussing.

Carolina Crown Carolina Crown's winter color guard ensemble CrownGUARD will take a year off from competition in 2011. "The decision was really difficult following the incredible performances brought to the arena the last two seasons," said CrownGUARD director Adam Sage. "The talent and vision the staff has brought to these performers will not be forgotten, and I look forward to that collaboration again in the future."

The Cavaliers Cavaliers supporters have little time left to purchase tickets for the corps' annual raffle drawing which will take place Saturday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Palatine, Ill. Nearly $25,000 in cash prizes are available including a $10,000 grand prize. Tickets cost $50 each and can be ordered online.

Glassmen The annual Glassmen Golf Classic will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3 at the Valleywood Golf Club in Swanton, Ohio. According to the corps' website the $65 per person admission includes "golf scramble for foursomes, lunch, cart, prize opportunities, and a whole lot of fun!"

Pacific Crest Twenty-five percent of all food purchases will be donated back to Pacific Crest at the El Torito restaurant in Fullerton, Calif. on Tuesday, Sept. 21. Patrons must present the flyer which can be downloaded from the corps' website.

Phantom Regiment Phantom Regiment will host the Red & Black Fall Classic at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill., on Saturday, Sept. 25. Thirty marching bands will perform at this contest beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Santa Clara Vanguard Santa Clara Vanguard's 2011 brass staff will be led by David Clemmer, assistant director of bands at the University of Kansas. He will take the reigns from Andre Feagin who served as the corps' brass caption manager since 2009. Assisting Clemmer will be John Pasquale, assistant director of bands at the University of Michigan, along with a supporting staff of veteran musicians and music educators.
