The Academy

The Academy will soon be moving to their expansive new headquarters, and so they don’t have to move everything, the corps is having a yard sale at the Tempe Sports Complex on Sunday, January 15.


Blue Knights

Blue Knights is offering a variety of limited-edition souvenir items to help pay for the corps’ new food truck.


The Cadets
Check out this sneak preview of the Cadets’ vocal ensemble that’s being put together for the corps’ 2017 production.


Colts is starting a new off-season tradition by having alumni speak to corps members at every rehearsal camp. The first alum to have this honor is David Lang, who marched with the organization from 1977 through 1985.



Crossmen has been invited to perform across three days at the upcoming Super Bowl LI pre-game events in Houston. The corps will be putting together a 100-member ensemble comprised of current members, alums, and performers from the organization’s new Crossmen Winds SoundSport team.


Rob Carson may be the most famous snare drummer in DCI history. A multi-year winner of the DCI Individual & Ensemble snare drum event while a member of Santa Clara Vanguard, he’s come out of a long retirement from drum corps to serve as the percussion caption head for Impulse.


Madison Scouts

Madison Scouts welcomes a talented staff of individuals to serve as the corps’ 2017 sound design team.  


Music City
Music City has announced it’s 2017 production, “Tribe,” which is set to include the piece “Pagan Dances” by James Barnes.


Oregon Crusaders

Meet the Oregon Crusaders staff members who will make up the corps’ 2017 percussion team.


Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest wishes to thank the Diamond Bar Community Foundation for its support by encouraging drum corps fans to sign up for the Run/Walk4Kids on Sunday, March 5 in California.

Santa Clara Vanguard

This week Santa Clara Vanguard paid tribute to the late Shirlee Whitcomb, by remembering her contributions to the organization’s color guard program.


Seattle Cascades

With the corps’ next rehearsal camp scheduled for January 13-16, the Cascades also offer prospective brass players the opportunity to audition via video for free.


Shadow is still recruiting color guard members to join the corps for its 2017 season. The organization has a Facebook interest group for prospective members.  


Spartans is working to recruit prospective members with openings in its brass, percussion and color guard sections.   



Troopers pay homage to Patty Crimm, a member of the corps’ board of directors for two decades, who lost her battle with cancer this week. She is a mother of four, three of whom marched with the corps.
