7th Regiment recently announced its 2011 team of new and returning design staff members.
The Academy
Invitations to the Academy’s annual awards banquet are in the mail. The event, this year taking place on Nov. 22 in Phoenix, serves as an opportunity for the organization to “celebrate the past season and recognize the special efforts of all involved in the corps.”
Blue Devils
Shawn Murphy, an alum of the Blue Devils and Sky Ryders, will join the Blue Devils’ brass staff for the 2011 season
Bluecoats

The Cadets
Seventeen-year-old Brad Pouncey will join his brother Ben as assistant drum major of the Cadets in 2011. Ben began his tenure as Cadets drum major in 2009, the same year Brad joined the corps.
Cascades
The Cascades announced new and returning members of its 2011 design staff.
The Cavaliers
Eighteen members of the Cavaliers’ percussion section are now in Japan participating in the National Cultural Festival in Okayama City.
Colts
Colts have made a number of staff announcements including new and returning heads of its visual and percussion captions.
Jersey Surf

Madison Scouts
The Madison Scouts have finalized their 2011 percussion staff which includes the addition of renowned performer and educator Jeff Queen.
Oregon Crusaders
The Oregon Crusaders announced the title of their 2011 production, “The Blue Hour,” which will feature tunes by Beethoven, Ticheli and Ginastera, among others.
Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest recently launched a new mobile website. Scan the QR code on the corps’ website with your web-enabled phone for the quickest access.
Phantom Regiment
By pre-ordering Phantom Regiment’s new “On the Road” DVD, you can get the 2009 and 2010 editions at a reduced price but only for a limited time. The DVDs are scheduled to begin shipping on Nov. 15.
Revolution
Revolution is offering a $25 discount to corps members who pre-register for the corps’ November audition camp.
Spirit of Atlanta
Chris Hestin has been appointed Spirit of Atlanta percussion caption head for the 2011 season. He previously served in the same position with the Glassmen from 2003-2008.
Teal Sound
Two new color guard staff members, Marcus Rankin and Amanda Brisbey, will be joining Teal Sound’s educational team in 2011.
Thunder
Thunder is getting tentative plans for its 2011 summer tour in place. The corps will start things off on Dec. 11 with a free educational session and open house.
Troopers
Second-year member Phillip “Fez” Franklin has been appointed color guard captain of the Troopers.
