From the YEA! Web site: The Crossmen gathered in Pennsville, N.J., this past weekend, under the leadership of new corps director Larry Markiewicz. About 160 or so young adults were on hand following the YEA! audition camp of November. About 75 brass, an excellent percussion section and 40 guard worked through Friday evening and the full day Saturday. Markiewicz said, "This is a good beginning to the summer. We are taking a bit of a turn, but we are committed to effect, and to audience enjoyment. We still have a bit of work to do in terms of the program, but we took some steps this weekend so that we could hear the possibility."
