From a Crossmen press release: The Crossmen recently appointed drum majors for the 2008 season. Kyle Bourdon, entering his sixth year as a member of corps, will work with returning drum major Garrett Dillon, to lead the Crossmen this summer.

Bourdon, a senior music education major at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa., was a member of the Crossmen horn line from 2003-2007. Dillon, who is entering his fifth year with the Crossmen, was a member of the brass section before assuming assistant drum major duties in 2007. He is a student at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., double majoring in business management and marketing. "Kyle and Garrett are two of the strongest and most dedicated leaders the Crossmen have to offer," said Mark Chambers, Crossmen corps director. "They were both stellar performers while marching in the horn line, and will no doubt continue to raise the bar of excellence at the Crossmen for the 2008 season. It is also exciting to have two individuals in the role with so many years of experience under their belts." The Crossmen also announced the horn and color guard captains who will also help lead corps members in 2008. Mark Figueroa, a fourth-year member, will serve as horn captain, and fifth-year member, Holly Stover will share color guard leadership responsibilities with fourth-year veteran member, Ben May.
