Crusading through California

by Drum Corps International

Kent Bogar (pinstripedeva@comcast.net) submitted this one:

"This particular picture is a picture of most of the Southern Oregon Crusaders' 2001 drum line. Of course, the Southern Oregon Crusaders are now the Oregon Crusaders, but the staff and the uniforms are the same. We're in Lodi, Calif., on the day of our second-to-last performance. From left to right: Me (Kent Bogar), Nate Commer, Jarrett Wendel and Colin Hill. You can kinda see Tom Wray's hands and hat. Not in the picture is our tenor player, Kiley Fabion, and, well, his drums. We finished that season in Santa Clara with a score of 54.90, a six-point jump in our score from the previous night in Lodi, and a sizable amount over our competition. Right now, I'm 17 and hoping to march with The Cavaliers in 2004, my graduating year." Thanks Kent! E-mail your Forzato submissions -- and we will get to them all, in time -- to dave@dci.org along with where and when the photo was taken. Send some biographical information about yourself as well. We'll give you full credit. Also, let us know if you want your e-mail address included, to get feedback from other drum corps fans.
