The 2002 Instructors' Summit on Education and Evaluation will take place January 11-13 in Rosemont, Illinois. The summit is designed to provide corps' instructors and designers with a comprehensive opportunity to review the 2001 competitive season. Attendees will examine the areas of evaluation that require further growth and begin planning for the future. Drum Corps International's ultimate goal for the weekend is to ensure that the instructional and design community continues to align with the adjudication community's understanding of how the evaluation system works. Several sessions will be offered during the course of the weekend.Focus Sessions Include: Task Force report on 2001 proposals:- Visual performance judge placement- Percussion performance judge placement- Six judge system What does it mean to rank and rate?
