Mark Arnold
From the desk of Mark Arnold, Chairman, Drum Corps International Board of Directors Dear Friends: In two weeks, the leaders of the organizations comprising Drum Corps International will come together in Indianapolis for our annual winter business meetings to plan for the coming summer season and to share our passion, thoughts and ideas for continuing our legacy, with the common goal of serving future generations of outstanding young people. Although we face challenges as individual nonprofit organizations and as a collective, the board of directors along with the participating corps are charged with the responsibility of ensuring that we are honoring and fulfilling the mission of our association and the pursuit of a bright and prosperous future for the remarkable activity we share. We are unified in our commitment to work together with a focus on engaging more people in the extraordinary drum corps experience, and we will continue to aggressively pursue new opportunities for success for all concerned. We are grateful for the unwavering support we've enjoyed from the hundreds of thousands of marching members, parents, valued partners, educators, volunteers and loyal supporters of Drum Corps International and its participants over the past 40 seasons. We look forward to working together in the spirit of stewardship, optimism and growth to ensure that our next 40 will be even better. Best wishes for a healthy New Year, and thank you once again for being a part of the lifeblood which fuels Drum Corps International and its members.
