The DCI Season Pass beta test ends this Friday, May 20, at 5 p.m. Central time. On June 1, the DCI Season Pass will be open for business, and subscribers will be able to enjoy all the delicious drum corps perks that the Season Pass offers! Thus far, more than 7,300 people have listened to more than 103,000 streams since we launched the DCI Season Pass beta test last week. Patty Orben of Lowell, Mass., who marched in the Division III Buccaneers from 1989-1993, the Division II Spartans in 1994 and the Boston Crusaders from 1995-1997, listened to the 1989 Santa Clara Vanguard as part of her beta test. "I just got goose bumps listening to 1989 SCV. That was my first year -- it holds a sweet spot in my heart. I was 13 and in Division III that summer. They were gods," Orben said. Other former marchers have been wowed by other elements of the DCI Season Pass. "I marched in the '70s and haven't been to a corps show since 1996," said Kim "Sprite" Algaier, 44, who marched in the Florida Vanguard in 1979. "DCI's revolutionary and impeccably produced Season Pass has compelled me to buy a ticket to this summer's Orlando show! I've never downloaded music from any site, but the Season Pass is going to fill my MP3 player. Whether it's the Madison Scouts' 1975 first-place finish, or Star of Indiana's memorable debut in 1985, the music on Season Pass is download-worthy! Thanks for bringing me back to my roots!" Algaier said. As the Season Pass evolves, we'll be amassing and formatting even more DCI shows to add to the season library. Stay tuned! Head on over to register and start streaming! Remember when. Live it now. One pass. One place.
