Dates: Summer positions are from the end of May to mid-August.

Location: Unless otherwise noted, positions are based at the Drum Corps International headquarters in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.

Hours: Summer session internships are full-time (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday) and may include substantial weekend hours while traveling to and working at DCI Tour events and the DCI World Championships.

Compensation: Interns receive a per-diem of $200 weekly. Depending on the position, interns may have the opportunity to travel and be involved extensively with off-site Drum Corps International events and the annual World Championships, during which travel and related expenses are covered.

Housing: Interns are required to relocate to Indianapolis. Drum Corps International may assist in the identification of housing options, and will assist in organizing apartment sharing with other interns to keep costs to a minimum should interest warrant. Interns will be listed as the legal leaseholders and will take full responsibility for the care of the housing location for the entirety of their internship assignment.

Transportation: Ground transportation to and from the DCI office as well as transportation to and from the airport for field assignments are the responsibility of the intern. Several of our previous interns have traveled to our Indianapolis headquarters using their own vehicles and have typically made daily carpool arrangements to and from the office.

Drum Corps International is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
