From the high-stepping, boot-wearing days of marching units of the past, the drum corps activity has been on a trajectory of continual evolution, coming a long way since Drum Corps International's founding four decades ago.

This second installment in a series of videos taking a look back over the 40-year legacy created by hundreds of thousands of outstanding performers, pays special tribute to many of the "All-Girl" division corps that were active in DCI competitions from the mid-1970s into the 1980s.

Calling all drum corps super sleuths and mega fans: Think you can name all of the corps in this new DCI@40 video? Send us an e-mail with the corps names and years for each shot in the video at contest@dci.org. Extra credit for location of photos and video clips!
