Posted May 11, 2011 Drum Corps International seeks a qualified full-time Merchandising Manager for its Indianapolis headquarters. The Merchandising Manager is responsible for the marketing, promotion and sales of all goods that are distributed and sold by Drum Corps International. This includes apparel, novelty, DVD and CD products as well as downloadable and streaming media. This person works closely with the Marketing department to execute new product launches each season. This person displays excellent communications and organizational skills with demonstrated interpersonal abilities. The Merchandising Manager will have direct supervision responsibilities over the merchandise/inventory-related areas of the warehouse and will train any part-time assistance and onsite crews. The Merchandising Manager travels throughout the year to trade shows and other sales opportunities and takes part in considerable travel during the summer months in order to attend DCI-sponsored events.
