Drum Corps International – Marching Music's Major League™ today announced an exclusive multi-year partnership with FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, to live stream select summer competitions, including the DCI World Championship Finals, on FloMarching.com. The partnership begins in May 2017, with the first event on June 25 at DCI West in Stanford, California.

Through the agreement, FloMarching will air 20 DCI Tour events over the summer, the most ever offered by DCI, including in-depth coverage of the DCI Open Class World Championship Finals. FloMarching and DCI will also offer access to some of the summer’s most competitive marching showcases including major regional DCI events in Minneapolis, San Antonio, Atlanta and Allentown, in addition to the week-long series of DCI World Championship competitive performances in Michigan City and Indianapolis, Indiana.

Beyond live events and daily corps coverage, FloMarching will provide “live lot” streams from warmup areas at select major events throughout the summer. The camera angle will bring all of the action from the front of the drum line directly to the viewers tuned in.

“DCI is the largest and most recognized organization in marching arts,” FloSports co-founder and CEO Martin Floreani said. “Our partnership allows us to showcase the talents of DCI corps members to millions of fans across the United States.”

“Drum Corps International is very pleased to present our events with FloSports through their rapidly-expanding FloMarching channel,” said Dan Acheson, DCI Executive Director and CEO. “DCI has been successfully presenting live-streamed events using in-house resources for a number of years. We’re excited to share that experience and insight with our new partners at FloSports, as we will now have an opportunity to engage a potential audience which is considerably larger than our existing subscriber base. Joining our partners Music for All and WGI as part of FloMarching helps to shine an even brighter spotlight on the exciting world of marching music.”

FloMarching has become the global leader in year-round live and on-demand coverage of marching arts, as well as original films, breaking news, up-to-date results and event calendars, and more. In addition to DCI, FloMarching has exclusive multi-year agreements with Bands of America and Winter Guard International to air their biggest events and championships. Combined, FloMarching will air more than 50 events annually.

To access live coverage of DCI competitions, users must register as FloPRO subscribers on FloMarching.com.

A complete schedule of 2017 DCI Tour events that will be live streamed through FloMarching will be available in the coming weeks.
