Last summer, I was driving by a local high school where I live in Sterling, Va., and saw the Phantom Regiment trailer. I started freaking out in my car and had to take a picture of the trailer to send to my drum line friends. I later went to the PR website and saw that they were practicing at that same high school the next day, so I was there the next morning at 9 a.m. to watch them practice and stayed the whole day watching them play! That day made my whole summer. Later on, in my high school marching season, I marched on the exact same field as PR for a marching band competition. I felt honored to have marched on the same field. Haha!
