Due to a recent (and previously unplanned) decision to returf Marshall
University Stadium, Phantom Regiment has had to move Drums Across the
Tri-State to Laidley Field in Charleston, W.Va. Marshall University recently hired a new head football coach and is transitioning from its current artificial turf to a version of field-turf is now a priority. Installation of the new turf is scheduled to go well into August. The date and lineup remains the same: Monday, Aug. 1, 2005 at 7:30 pm. Phantom Regiment

Laidley Field is in downtown Charleston, W.Va., right off I-64. The artificial-turf stadium seats 7,000 concert side, and is home to many high school and community events throughout the year.
