Suzanne Verlinde-Roos sent in this one. "This picture was taken in Allentown last summer. It was great to see our friends again. We all are from the Netherlands and are drum corps addicts. My husband, Peter, and I went to my brother and his family, who live in Mount Laurel, N.J., and went to Allentown, Giants Stadium and then drove up to Boston. It is a great mix for a holiday, drum corps and family. We try to do that almost every year.

"From left to right: Jeroen ten Brinke (who traveled with the Cavaliers to watch and learn),
Patrick Dam (who marched in the snare line of the Boston Crusaders), me (Suzanne Verlinde-Roos) (Crossmen guard '92, and I taught the Kiwanis Kavaliers for several years) and Peter Verlinde (drum staff for Crossmen in 2000).

"It was great to see en breath drum corps again. Allentown is THE show of the year for us(Crossmen home show) and we had a great time."

"See you next year :-)"

Thanks Suzanne! E-mail your best shots from the summer to dave@dci.org along with where and when the photo was taken. Send some biographical information about yourself as well. We'll give you full credit. Also, let us know if you want your e-mail address included. View the Forzato archives
