Father Flannigan and his timpani-playing brother

by Drum Corps International

"Hello! My name is Derrick Flannigan and I marched as a rookie soprano in the Madison Scouts this past summer. My brother Neil marched in Southwind and played the timpani. He was also a rookie. The picture I am sending you is of the two of us after the Southwind home show in Lexington, Ky. A little background on myself, I'm 20 years old and attend Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, where I am studying to become a Roman Catholic priest. This summer I earned the nickname "Fr. Flannigan" from my Scout brothers and really enjoyed marching. I live in St. Louis also. Thanks!" Thank you, Fr. Flannigan.
