For the first time since the last live PBS broadcast of the World Championships in 2001, fans around the world will be able to watch the DCI Finals LIVE online, Saturday, Aug. 10.
"If you can't make it to Indianapolis, this is really the next best thing to being there on Saturday night," said John DeNovi, DCI Director of Sales and Business Development.
Not only can fans view each corps' performance live, but other exclusive looks inside the event will be available, including a camera at the exit tunnel featuring exclusive post-performance interviews. In addition, the webcast's DVR function will allow fans to rewind to the beginning of the show and watch at their own pace.
The webcast will be offered exclusively through DCIFinals.com with pay-per-view access available for $69, and a $20 discount available to current DCI Fan Network subscribers.
"While we still encourage everyone to come out to the stadium and experience this incredible event in person, if you can't make it to Indianapolis, you can now experience all three days of competition at Lucas Oil Stadium whether through the cinema for the World Championship Prelims, the DCI Fan Network webcast of the Semifinals, or the webcast of the Finals" DeNovi said.
