As the Vanguard is bringing back music from Gustav Holst’s The Planets in 2012, I was happy to find this shot that I took in 1980 in Birmingham, Ala.
Santa Clara Vanguard’s seventh-place 1980 production included the fourth movement of The Planets, “Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity.”
