I call this picture "Help The Pit!" because whenever we finished rehearsal, the drum line would always help the pit members carry their equipment back to the equipment truck. Our drum line instructor Ralph Hardimon would always be sure to remind us of that.
The photo was taken at our housing site near Madison, Wis., in August, 1986, at the end of rehearsal.
