Forzato -- Picture of the day

Dan Wilde, who has marched with DCUK's Reading, Berkshire, England's Cadence since 2000, submitted this one. Dan, who has marched since 1989, will age out in 2004. "This is a picture of the Cadence horn line before a show last year. We had just completed our warmup and the game faces are on! The famous red of our uniform stands out vividly underneath the darkened sky, and that night we went out and performed one of our best shows of the year. From the front is Albert, Dan (me), Carol and Beef, who made up the 2002 baritone line. Although it was a smaller line this year, we produced a quality sound and went on to finish fourth in brass with a far-smaller horn line than our fellow competitors. "Carol (three back) marched Boston Crusaders in 1997 and 1999 and Adam (6 back) marched Blue Devils 2001. "Cadence was crowned DCUK open class champions in 1999, and we hope to regain the title in 2003." Thanks Dan!
