The truck stops here
Eric Fox says: "After the show in Huntington, W.V., back in 2001, one of our truck drivers left the truck lights on for a couple hours. We came back to the parking lot after retreat (well, the rest of the corps came back from retreat, but the pit was comin' back from Wendy's and 7-11) to find that the truck battery was dead. Jumper cables couldn't get it going, so the troops were sent in to get the truck moving again. "The troop they sent in -- the guys of the corps -- grabbed onto the back of the truck and started pushing. We pushed it forwards and backwards for about 10 minutes until it finally started up.It was quite embarrassing to us since we were in view of many other corps at the time, but so what?" Thanks Eric! Fox, 19, is sophomore at Florida State University. He played in the front ensemble of the Tampa Bay Thunder 2000 and 2001, and with the Phantom Regiment 2002. Editor's note: We have received a lot of Forzato submissions -- and we are running them in the order they are received -- so if we haven't run your submission yet, we will eventually. Keep them coming!
