Todd Freitas and Nathan Wada have been named the 2003 Vanguard Cadets drum majors. Both are returning members to the Vanguard Cadets program and are low brass players. To further their educational development on their brass instruments and to continue preparing them to be a future Vanguard member, the two will trade off between the drum major role and a marching member role on their instrument during the field show. This will take a lot of planning they hope to make this new approach work well and hopefully seamlessly.
