Rachel Waggoner sent in this one. “This is a picture Kirsten and I during a free day in Chicago this summer. We are both members of the Blue Stars color guard. I marched from 2002 to the present and this was Kirsten’s first year with us. She came to the first camp with hot pink hair, and I didn’t know what to think about her, but over the summer, we became best friends. We call this the gimp picture, because I had a strained quadriceps tendon, and she’d torn tendons in her shoulder, plus we were in front of a two-headed duck.”
