Hello everyone! The Cadets have been very busy (as usual) this week. We had a YEA clinic and show in Lansdale, Pa., followed by our home show in Clifton, N.J., on June 29. We were treated to bottles of Gatorade during lunch, and Cokes and bottled water after the show. It may be tough, but these kinds of things can be appreciated on tour. We found ourselves in Beverly, Mass., for the last day of June in a show with the Crossmen. July 1 through July 3 we were at Dartmouth High School in Massachusetts. We had a full rehearsal day on the July 1, during which we worked mainly on the ballad. July 2 was a rehearsal and exhibition day. After practice we drove to Bristol, R.I., for a standstill performance. July 3 was also the hottest day yet. Even when the sun went down, it was still extremely warm. The crowd at the show was amazing, and the fireworks that concluded the show left everyone in awe. It was a great way to kick off the July 4. Today was the Bristol, R.I. July 4 celebration, as well as a parade in Wakefield, Mass.
