by Drum Corps International

From a Glassmen press release: The Glassmen are pleased to announce the addition of Mark Waymire, Andrew Putnam and Todd Snead to the corps' brass program for the 2007 season. Joining arranger Robert W. Smith and longtime brass guru Frank Williams, Waymire, Putnam and Snead bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Glassmen brass program and hope to continue the great work they have been doing together for the past several years.

Members of the Glassmen horn line in Lisle, Ill., on June 18, 2006.
Waymire currently serves as the associate director of bands at Eastern Michigan University, and prior to that held the position as director of instrumental studies for the Seguin Independent School District in Texas. "Mark is a great musician and quality educator. I look forward to the opportunity to work with him not only in our brass program, but also through our local outreach programs, and our summer Entertrainment clinic series," said Glassmen Executive Director Brian Hickman.
